Braindead class, and as you say just stand there and, nothing do nothing.. 90% of warlords (dunno why they fuck they call em gunlancers now) actually believe they are tanks, doesnt know a single mechanic for anything, they lack in all aspects. Fun class tho as any other in the game. In Lost Ark, when you play for the first time, you have to do a 'tutorial' 1-10 levels. After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. On top of that, when you skip tutorial, you get into a zone where you test a class with a lot of skills unlocked.For story, start with a dps class. It's still doable with a support but it goes through much faster if you have a dps that has large aoes or that has higher movement speed/skills. You can easily switch to a more preferred class once you reach North vern, where you unlock knowledge transfer. Dont's : wardancer, gunlancer, soulfist, sharpshooter (situational), and supports (bard/pally) The ones I mentioned for "don't" are classes that either suck at lower tiers (soulfist/wardancer) or are a chore/pain to do dailies in ... Deathblade is really fun. I feel like I'm playing a Bayonetta/DMC type of game where I try to go for the most stylish kills possible without letting the enemies touch the ground. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun. Honorable mentions are Paladin and Sorc. Scouter - Transformation class with a static rotation after, looks cool but not complicated. Reaper - Bounce across the entire screen and look cool or kill yourself, damage feel meh for effort. Summoner- Solid class, both builds very strong, one piano with pets, one sort of like igniter.Bard is more caster oriented and HK is more big man with big sword oriented with some glowy angel shit. Like the screen just blows up playing sorc. Blade was really fun going in and out of combat. Gunlancer was fun being able to just face tank with your shield up and still do good damage and have cool abilities. Paladin has a lot of cool looking aoesThe reasons to play it are the highish apm, high mobility, high stagger, high destruction, two built in class dashes, and general tankiness. It also has one of the best "flows" out of all the classes I have played. Kind of hard to describe, but when I started playing it I instantly fell in love with how it felt. .
